My name is Lynn El Haddad. I have a PhD in Food Microbiology from Laval Univeristy in Quebec City in Canada and I did a postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Microbiology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston TX under the mentorship of Dr. Roy Chemaly. I am currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Medicine at the University of Florida in Gainesville. My research interest focus on the role of phages in preventing bacterial colonization and infection in cancer patients. I am also interested in the role of the phageome in health and disease in the stem cell transplant population. I have received an American Cancer Society grant and a K01 mentored award to fulfill my research goals.
