Col Brian K. White, DO, recently spent six months in Afghanistan, where he was privileged to advise military commanders in planning, preparation, and response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. He has now returned to his home duty station in San Antonio, TX, where he works as the Infection Control Chair, the Antimicrobial Stewardship Chair, and the Internal Medicine Department Chair at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center. This job allows him opportunities to teach at the largest Internal Medicine residency and the only Infectious Disease Fellowship in the Air Force.
