Megan Grammatico is currenty a fourth year medical student at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Between her third and fourth years of medical school, she was chosen as a Fogarty Fellow, and spent one year in South Africa doing HIV and TB research under the supervision of Sheela Shenoi, MD MPH, an assistant professor of medicine at Yale School of Medicine.
