Lauren Correia, BS, is currently a third year medical student at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She is excited to be participating in her first IDWeek conference and looks forward to hearing about the most current infectious disease research from experts in the field. She has previously performed immunology and genetics research and is happy that she was able to contribute to work that helps determine factors influencing health outcomes HIV/HCV co-infected patients.
