Shahrzad Darvish MSN, RN, CIC joined Cooper University Health June 2017 as an administrative director for the department of infection prevention and control. She obtained her BSN from the university of Medical sciences in Tehran Iran, school of nursing. As a nurse she was cross trained and worked in different aspects of nursing practice until 1996 when she migrated to the United State of America. She started working as a volunteer at the University of Virginia while getting prepared to fulfil all requirements to obtain her RN. She furthered joined the department of infection prevention in University of Virginia. After moving to Pennsylvania she pursued her graduate study in nursing education at Villanova University and obtained her MSN.
