Rachel Spector is a third year medical student at Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Emory University. She has been conducting research on tickborne diseases since beginning medical school in 2018 with a focus on coinfection of Babesia and Lyme disease.
