Dr. Sánchez is a Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and a board-certified neonatologist and pediatric infectious diseases specialist at Nationwide Children's Hospital. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and did a pediatric residency at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, followed by fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, New York, and fellowship in pediatric infectious disease at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW), Dallas. He was on faculty at UTSW from 1986 to 2013 before joining the pediatric faculty at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus, OH in August 2013.
