Dr. Robert Rolfe Jr. is a third year infectious diseases fellow at Duke University in the global health pathway. His primary interest is the use of diagnostics in vaccine studies in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). He participated in the Gorgas course in 2018 and received his DTMH. He plans to complete a clinical microbiology fellowship after his infectious diseases fellowship and then continue work with improving vaccine and diagnostic capabilities in LMICs as a clinican-scientist.
