Shireesha Dhanireddy is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington. She is located primarily at Harborview Medical Center, the safety net hospital for the Seattle region, where is the clinic director for both the Infectious Diseases and Travel Clinic and the Madison Clinic, the largest HIV Clinic in the Pacific Northwest. She is co-founder of the SHE (Safe.Healthy.Empowered) Clinic, which serves women living homeless and engaging in survival sex. She is board certified in Infectious Diseases, Internal Medicine, and Addiction Medicine. In addition to her clinical work, she teaches medical students, residents, and fellows. Her research and quality improvement work focus on improving the health of persons who inject drugs.
