Albert Eid, MD is an Associate Professor and Director of the Transplant Infectious Diseases section in the Division of Infectious Disease at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He received his medical degree from Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at East Tennessee State University. He then completed his Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. His clinical and research focus has been infectious diseases in transplant recipients. He joined the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Kansas Medical Center in July 2007 as an Assistant Professor. He was promoted to Associate Professor on July 1st, 2011.
