Hello. My name is Praveen Subramanian and I am currently a first year Infectious Diseases Fellow at The University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City. I completed my B.S. in Biochemistry at Saint Louis University in 2013. Postgraduation, I was a research assistant in Dr. Yuna Ayala's group at SLU studying the structure and confirmational changes of TDP-43, a protein of interest in ALS. I then completed medical school at A.T. Still University in Kirksville, MO in 2018. I then completed a residency in Internal Medicine at The Univeristy of Kansas Medical Center in 2021. My specific interests include antimicrobial stewardship, immunocompromised hosts, and critical care medicine, specifically shock and hemodynamics. After completing fellowship in Infectious Diseases, I plan on pursuing a fellowship in critical care medicine.
