Dr. Jodie Dionne is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is Chief of Women's Health at the 1917 HIV Clinic, and the Associate Director of Global Health for the UAB Center for Women's Reproductive Health. Dr. Dionne is a physician-scientist with two decades of expertise managing HIV and coinfections in women and pregnancy. Active investigations include clinical trials focused improving the prevention and treatment of malaria, sexually transmitted infections, and perinatal hepatitis B infection in the US and in Cameroon.
