Dr. Julie Ledgerwood is the Deputy Director and Chief Medical Officer at the Vaccine Research Center at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease. She is a graduate of Oklahoma State University of Health Sciences and completed her residency in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and her allergy/immunology fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. She has 18 years of experience in vaccine research and development with a focus on pandemic response and since January has been heavily involved in the USG response to COVID-19 vaccine development.
