Aryn Andrzejewski was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, where she completed medical school at Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She is currently a third-year Internal Medicine resident at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Hospitals and is in the process of applying to Infectious Diseases fellowships. She also has a strong interest in Addiction Medicine and enjoys investigating infectious complications secondary to intravenous drug use such as skin and soft tissue infections, osteomyelitis, endocarditis, hepatitis C and HIV. She also wishes to pursue a career in academic medicine as she hopes to become an assistant professor in order to help lay the foundation of Infectious Diseases for medical students and other trainees.
