Medical Epidemiologist

Dr. D’Angeli is a Medical Epidemiologist in the Washington State Department of Health Office of Communicable Disease Epidemiology and Healthcare Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance Program. She is a Pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. After a decade of clinical practice, she received her Master’s degree in Epidemiology from University of Washington in 2008 and joined the department in 2009. As a public health doctor, she works on outbreaks and infectious breach investigations in healthcare settings, and leads the Combating Antimicrobial Resistance Initiative for the department which includes tackling antibiotic resistance from a One Health perspective.
