Amber Martin, BS, is a Research Scientist for Evidera’s Evidence Synthesis, Modeling, and Communications group in Waltham, MA. Mrs. Martin has more than 14 years’ experience working in evidence-based medicine, and her responsibilities at Evidera include acting as a Principal Investigator on systematic literature review and meta-analysis projects. In this role, she is responsible for directing study design and analysis on these literature-based projects. Mrs. Martin has experience in a number of therapeutic areas, including infectious disease. Her related work has been published in peer-reviewed literature, including BMC infectious disease and Open Forum Infectious Diseases.
Prior to joining Evidera, Mrs. Martin provided technical support at SeraCare Diagnostics and served as an accessioning technician at Genzyme, where she reconciled, catalogued, and tracked biological samples and maintained a database for clinical trials. She also served as a research assistant at the New England Aquarium where she worked with seals and tracked their health and migratory patterns alongside aquarium biologists. Mrs. Martin earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Long Island University.
