Research Fellow
Fungal Pathogenesis Section, National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, National Institutes of Health
I am a Research Fellow working at the Fungal Pathogenesis Section (FPS at NIAID/NIH). My long-term aim is to work towards better gaining a better understanding of the molecular and cellular mechanisms responsible for providing protection against fungal infections. Specifically, as a Research Fellow at the FPS/NIAID/NIH, I am engaged in a research program to better understand (1) the fungal-regulated production of anaphylatoxin (C5a) and its roles in antifungal immunity and (2) the role of Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (Btk) in protection against invasive aspergillosis.
