Seher completed an Infectious Disease fellowship at UTMB, Galveston and joined the National Institue of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in 2018 as a staff clinician in the translational mycology section. She is part of the team at the Laboratory of Clinical Immunology and Microbiology and her work focuses on investigating immune defects that predispose previously healthy patients to cryptococcosis and the management of patients with post-infectious inflammatory syndrome. Her clinical research includes the study of long-term outcomes of cryptococcal meningitis. She is also responsible for educating fellows/residents while attending on the Infectious Disease consult service.
