Aurora Pop-Vicas, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, Wisconsin. Her clinical and research interests are in the field of infection control and hospital epidemiology, aiming to prevent nosocomial infections in vulnerable populations such as older adults or long-term-care facility residents.
