Dr. Rajeshwari Nair is a research epidemiologist and an early stage investigator in the Division of General Internal Medicine Division at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine (UICCOM). Dr. Nair received her PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Iowa in 2015 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the UICCOM. Dr. Nair's research is focused on healthcare-associated infections such as surgical site infections and bloodstream infections, and on antimicrobial stewardship. Her methodological focus is in design of observational and quasi-experimental studies, systematic review and meta-analysis, and outcomes research.
