Dr. Shallal is a 2nd year fellow in her Infectious Diseases fellowship at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Windsor in 2009. She worked as an R.N. before completing her Medicine Degree at Saba University School of Medicine in 2016. She completed her Internal Medicine residency and served as Chief Resident in 2019 at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Her research interests include public health and healthcare disparities.
