Magnus Rasmussen is an Infectious Diseases Consultant at Skåne University Hospital and the Professor of Infection Medicine at Lund University, Sweden. He has a background as an experimental scientist but focus has shifted towards translational infection medicine. Currently he has a research interest in severe infections with Gram positive bacteria in general and in infective endocarditis in particular.
