Nilesh is orignally from the Bay area in Northern California. He completed his B.S. in Biochemistry at UCLA and then attended Chicago Medical School to complete his M.D. He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the UCLA-San Fernando Valley Program and Infectious Disease Fellowship with the UCLA Infectious Disease Program. He currently operates a solo-private practice inf Infectious Disease in North Los Angeles County since 2006. He also serves as the Medical Director for The Blue Shield Promise Clinics in the Antelope Valley area in North Los Angeles County. He is a council member of the Infectious Disease Society of California and is on the Clinical Affairs Committee as well as the ID Week Planning Committee for IDSA. He resides in Valencia, CA with his wife and three children.
