Yomi Obafemi, MD, MPH

Yomi Obafemi is a Preventive Medicine trained physician. She completed her residency training at the University of Colorado- Anschutz Medical Campus and a one year Preventive Medicine/STD fellowship training program that was collaboration with CU- Anschutz, the Denver Prevention Training Center and the division of HIV/STD Prevention at Denver Public Health. She also has a Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology from the Colorado School of Public Health. Currently, she is the medical director of the STD Clinic at Denver Public Health. She sees patients at the STD clinic and is currently working several projects including implementation of a rapid start program to provide treatment for persons newly living with HIV in the STD clinic.
