Charles L. Daley, M.D., is Professor of Medicine at National Jewish Health (NJH), the University of Colorado, and Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is Chief of the Division of Mycobacterial and Respiratory Infections and Director of the Nontuberculous Mycobacteria (NTM) Center of Excellence at NJH. He has served on expert panels for the WHO, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Infectious Diseases Society of America and American Thoracic Society. In these roles he has served on guideline development committees for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of TB including as co-chair of the WHO 2016 MDR-TB update. He Chaired the revision of the ATS/ESCMID/ERS/IDSA NTM Guideline. Dr. Daley has been recognized as one of the “Best Doctors in America” by U.S. News & World Report and Castle Connolly and he received the World Lung Health Award given by the American Thoracic Society. He was previously Associate Editor of the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine and currently Associate Editor of The European Respiratory Journal. His academic interests include global health policy and clinical and translational research in tuberculosis and NTM infections.
