Jon (JJ) Furuno PhD FSHEA is an associate professor and the interim chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice in the Oregon State University College of Pharmacy. Dr. Furuno’s research focuses on patient safety with an emphasis on improving medication prescribing in nursing homes, at end-of-life, and during transitions of care. His current projects including those discussed in this presentation are funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.
