Dr. Colleen Kraft is an infectious diseases-trained physician and a clinical microbiologist. She is a medical director of the microbiology section of Emory Medical Laboratories. She is also the program director for the ACGME medical microbiology fellowship. She is the chair of the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) Laboratory Medicine Best Practices Committee. Her research interests are in fecal microbiota transplant as a treatment for multi-drug resistant organisms and dysbiosis. She sees infectious diseases consults on the inpatient service and is the Associate Medical Director of the Serious Communicable Diseases Unit, both at Emory University Hospital.
