Monica I. Ardura, DO, MSCS practices pediatric infectious diseases at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH, where she is the medical director of the ID Host Defense Program and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr Ardura completed her fellowship training in pediatric infectious diseases and her Master of Science in Clinical Sciences at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Her clinical and research interests include the epidemiology, prevention, and outcomes of infections in immunocompromised children and participation in clinical trials for the diagnosis and treatment of infections in this population. Dr. Ardura also serves as the assistant program director for the Pediatric Infectious Diseases fellowship program and program director for the ID Host Defense fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She is an active member of the Infectious Disease Society of America, Pediatric Infectious Disease Society, American Society of Transplantation, and International Pediatric Transplant Association.
