Vinny Chiang is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School and serves as an administrator, educator and clinician at Boston Children's Hospital. He is currently the Chief Medical Officer at Boston Children’s Hospital, where provides leadership and management support for all aspects of physician and clinical practice within the hospital. He is also the Chief of Inpatient Services for the Department of Pediatrics (DOP), Associate Chief for Inpatient Medicine in the Division of General Pediatrics and the Vice Chair for Finance for the DOP. As an educator, he directed the Core and Advanced Clerkships in Pediatrics for almost 20 years at Boston Children's for Harvard Medical School and is an emeritus Associate Program Director for the Boston Combined Residency Program in Pediatrics. Recently, he and Lisa Zaoutis came out with the second edition of their textbook, Comprehensive Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Clinically, he works as both a hospitalist and in the Emergency Department. He and his wife Susanne live in Dedham, MA with their three children Molly, Grace and Aidan.
