This session will review the prevalence and consequences of pediatric oral health disease. Faculty will discuss using the AAP Bright Futures Oral Health Risk Assessment tool as a guide to reduce disease risk and practical considerations when implementing oral health programs in pediatric practices. Attendees will learn how to apply fluoride varnish to children to prevent tooth decay.
