This session will review the American Society of Hematology’s guidelines on von Willebrand's disease (vWD) (including who to test, interpreting results, and addressing nosebleeds and menorrhagia) and hemophilia (DNA analysis, advances in factor replacement, inhibitor management, and gene therapy). Faculty will discuss the pediatrician's role in caring for patients with vWD and hemophilia.
