The HEADSS assessment and its modifications, which ask adolescents about Home, Education, Activities/Employment, Drugs, Suicidality, and Sex, often miss important risks from preventable environmental exposures. Faculty will review common environmental exposures that affect teens’ short- and long-term health and model ways to incorporate questions into interviews.
