This session will focus on the diagnosis of gender dysphoria, outpatient management of gender-affirming hormones, and surgical options for transgender youth. Medical, surgical, and patient perspectives will be included. Faculty also will discuss how to help patients and parents navigate sex-segregated spaces in schools, including bathrooms, locker rooms, and competitive athletics.
