We collaborate with Emory University School of Medicine, Georgia Institute of Technology and other academic institutions to advance pediatric medicine and pursue answers to perplexing medical conditions. In 2019, 3,947 patients at Children’s enrolled in a clinical research study, and of those, 764 enrolled into a clinical trial. Throughout the year, Children’s provided $43.9 million for lifesaving research in pediatric diseases and tracked more than 12,000 patient visits in which research was conducted to make kids better today and healthier tomorrow.
