(5-0495) SUNTA Mentoring Session

In this mentoring session, students and early career professionals will have an opportunity to meet in a small group setting with a mentor. Mentors are long-term SUNTA members who will offer advice and guidance on a number of relevant topics based upon mentees’ stage in their careers. These topics include (1) strategies for selecting a program and surviving graduate school; (2) developing a successful publishing agenda, (3) finding employment; (4) navigating the tenure path; (5) developing a social network within the discipline; and (6) the value of professional service.
