Reception and cash bar open to all members of the Association for Queer Anthropology (AQA) and others interested in queer anthropology. AQA serves the interests of LGBT and other queer and allied anthropologists in the AAA and promotes anthropological research on sexuality and gender as they intersect with race, class, disability, nationality, colonialism and globalization. AQA actively seeks to increase the diversity of the AAAs along lines of race, class, disability, nationality, gender, sexuality, and other forms of social difference. Everyone is invited to join us.
